Update 9.04

I feel like, while I’ve been at home most of the time, the last two weeks have been crazy! Integrating a new kitten into the household and starting school last week have been nutso. On top of that, my brother is going to move out here at the end of the month so there’s been some family-related drama as well.

Hela gets up about an hour before we really need to get up in the morning, which means that I’ve been getting up with her. She is a bundle of energy!

Can you find the cat in amongst the books?

After a week of keeping them separate, we introduced the cats to each other- and they’re getting along pretty well!

Webster still isn’t sure about the proper way to be a cat interacting with another cat… but he’s getting better. What’s more- he seems to be actually enjoying having her around! He doesn’t hide under the bed as often as before, and he’s definitely interested in her and eggs her on sometimes when she wants to play with him.

What’s hilarious is that she totally cows him sometimes- so she’ll attack him, and push him off the bed, or out from whatever spot he was sitting in. And the look on his face is so confused! “How did this 5 pound thing just do this to me? How is she so fast? What just happened?”

Also, I’ve been knitting!

This is Webster hanging out with my Summer Solstice Mystery Shawl by Wendy Johnson. I finished it several weeks ago, but just got around to blocking it a few days ago. In this process- I discovered that Hela really likes to try to eat blocking pins. ugh.

I should really get back to work- school is back in full swing! Take care everyone!
